SOUNDS PRESENTS:
iNTOXiCATiNG HiP HOP SOUND OF NAKE NULA WAUN AND THEiR LATEST RELEASE THE DEFiNiTiON!!! SEPTEMBER 29,
2011 - The
Rosebud Sioux Indian Reservation in South Dakota is an unlikely
domicile for a hip hop band but that hasn't deterred FRANK WALN, DRE,
KODI DE NOYER and TOM SCHMIDT aka 'JS' (currently serving in the
Marines) from kicking out some of the most heartfelt and inspired jams
in recent memory. In 2010, the band hit the scene with their
mesmerizing debut SCARS AND BARS - a funkified treatise on survival and
hope amid all obstacles. Not ones to waste time between recordings,
NAKE NULA WAUN have just released their eagerly awaited follow up CD
THE DEFINITION. This is the first time in the history of the
ROCKWIRED's ARTIST OF
THE MONTH campaign where the winner wasn't featured on an edition of
ROCKWIRED RADIO PROFILES but on the weekly online radio series
ABORIGINAL SOUNDS. NAKE
NULA WAUN are also the first hip hop band to become a ROCKWIRED ARTIST
OF THE MONTH.
