ROCKWiRED RADiO PROFiLES
PRESENTS:
THE ROOTS ROCK SOUND OF WHiSKEY DAWN AND THEiR DEBUT CD 'DEAR NASHViLLE' SEPTEMBER 30, 2011 -
WHISKEY DAWN, has broken the mold for ‘California Country.’ With the
release of their first original album, "DEAR NASHVILLE", WHISKEY DAWN
popularity sky-rocketed to unimagined heights. Regularly featured on
101.9 the Wolf and 105.1 KNCI in Sacramento, WHISKEY DAWN’s music has
also been heard on multiple country stations up and down the State of
California, Oregon, Nevada & Arizona. The band has sold thousands
of copies of “Dear Nashville” and are now in the process of recording
their sophomore album. They will release two new singles this fall. The
foundation for WHISKEY DAWN’s success started over a decade ago. TROY
FERRIS, MIKE COOK and JEREMY HUGHES began singing and playing music
together in high school. It only took them ten years to realize how
special it was to have three uniquely talented friends - all with a
passion for music. With the addition of superb musicians KEVIN MAXWELL
and JOHNNY MYERS out of Reno, Nevada, WHISKEY DAWN has begun winning
over country music fans throughout the western United States.![]() YOU
