PRESENTS: THE AMBiENT SOUND
OF eM AND HER NEW RELEASE 'DHF'
OCTOBER 18, 2011 - As eM
states clearly on her website, three key concepts drive those cool
beats,
compelling lyrics and sensuous vocals that continue to capture the
hearts and
ears of progressive minded dance music fans in America and her native
Australia: “Inspiration. Motivation. Dedication.” It’s no wonder her
friends
call her the “Queen of Motivation.” Having followed her dreams for over
a
decade, she has emerged as an increasingly popular force in the genre
she
loves, beginning with the single “CAPTURE,” which was produced by
trance
producer MaRLo and remixed by UK mix sensation MIKE KOGLIN. Following
its #1
chart success on TRACKDOWN, eM released her full length debut DARKER
HARDER in 2010 and gets even
deeper and more hypnotic on her latest collection DHF. “The
whole concept of DARKER HARDER was starting off ambient/acoustic
and taking the listener through a journey of breakbeat, progressive,
trancey
elements,” says eM. “I believe in taking people on these kinds of
musical
excursions. DHF, which stands for ‘DEEP HARD FAST,’ is a step up with
more
beats and hypnotic lyrics. I’ve charted with numerous other
producers and
it’s time I began charting with my own songs. I take a step in that
direction
with the title track on the new album. It’s a sexual song about not
taking
someone too seriously. I feel this album is more rounded and
evolved than
the last and will appeal to younger listeners. Some of the feedback I
received
for DARKER HARDER was that it was a
bit slow - and this feedback was from my younger and gay friends. I
want people
rocking on the dance floor by the time they get to the ‘DHF’ track.”

since. He is currently the host of all of ROCKWIRED.COM's programming
which includes such shows as ROCKWIRED RADIO PROFILES and ROCKWIRED

program producer for ROCKWiRED.COM, LUSH is hands-on when it
comes to
interviewing and building a lasting rapport with the artists that come
ROCKWiRED's
way. As a youngster, BRIAN LUSH had no idea what kind of seed was being
planted
by reading magazines such as HIT PARADE, HIGH TIMES, SPIN, REQUEST
(remember
that one?) and even ROLLING STONE. "Those were the days before the
internet and being a rock journalist
looked
like the coolest job imaginable." says LUSH "But reading these
magazines had me
imagining that one day I'd be the artist giving all of the clever
answers to
some poor guy with a tape recorder. Well, life has a way of surprising
you.
Now, I'm the poor guy with the tape recorder and asking all of the
questions."
