       ROCKWiRED RADiO PROFiLES

THE HYPNOTiC SOUND OF MiMOSA AND HiS LATEST RELEASE SANCTUARY 
DECEMBER
20, 2011 - Blissfully unconcerned with a world obsessed with
categorization as a means of definition, MiM0SA crafts music for its
own sake, defying expectations with genre bending soundscapes. Hailing
from the San Francisco Bay Area and currently residing in Los Angeles,
MiM0SA began producing at the tender age of 17. Blessed with an
abundance of talent and an ear for sonic experimentation, this
fan-favorite has quickly developed a name for
himself as one of the West Coast’s top exports. And the word is
spreading fast. In just a few short years he’s shared the stage with
standard-bearers like BENGA, SKREAM, RUSKO, DATSIK, GLITCH MOB, PRETTY
LIGHTS, BASSNECTAR and FLYING LOTUS. He’s also played festivals and
shows across North America, including COACHELLA, SYMBIOSIS GATHERING,
BURNING MAN, DECIBEL FESTIVAL, and RED ROCKS AMPITHEATRE. To say that
MiM0SA is on the rise is to miss the mark. Rather, MiM0SA has arrived.
This past March found him headlining his first tour, as he
criss-crossed the U.S., selling out major venues like HIGHER GROUND
(Burlington, VT), THE PARADISE (Boston, MA), and the GOTHIC THEATER
(Denver, CO). Not to mention stellar debut performances at legendary
venues such as NYC’s IRVING PLAZA and THE FILLMORE in San Francisco.
The words tireless and prolific don’t quite do MiM0SA justice.

LUSH holds a BA in Creative Writing from the UNIVERSITY OF
NEW MEXICO. He established ROCKWIRED on New Years of 2004 and hasn't
looked back
since. He is currently the host of all of ROCKWIRED.COM's programming
which includes such shows as ROCKWIRED RADIO PROFILES and ROCKWIRED
FREE FORM RADIO. As
program producer for ROCKWiRED.COM, LUSH is hands-on when it
comes to
interviewing and building a lasting rapport with the artists that come
ROCKWiRED's
way. As a youngster, BRIAN LUSH had no idea what kind of seed was being
planted
by reading magazines such as HIT PARADE, HIGH TIMES, SPIN, REQUEST
(remember
that one?) and even ROLLING STONE. "Those were the days before the
internet and being a rock journalist
looked
like the coolest job imaginable." says LUSH "But reading these
magazines had me
imagining that one day I'd be the artist giving all of the clever
answers to
some poor guy with a tape recorder. Well, life has a way of surprising
you.
Now, I'm the poor guy with the tape recorder and asking all of the
