In the world of modern metal one ax man has made quite a name for himself through his work with DEATHRIDERS, HELLION and now through his own solo work. MAXXXWELL CARLISLE - the metal guitar virtuoso and bodybuilder (why wouldn't a shred metal guitarist have a pair of guns like this guy?) has released his latest EP FULL METAL THUNDER. The short yet powerful set packs a punch with such blistering tracks as the propulsive title track, THE POWER OF METAL COMPELS ME and THE CALL OF METAL. More recently he has released a single VISIONS OF  SPEED AND THUNDER which precedes a forthcoming compilation of the same name.  In the upcoming edition of BRIAN LUSH'S ROCKWIRED, MAXXXWELL will be one of the guitarists profiled in our special feature KICKING AX.
