(December 14, 2011 – Albuquerque, NM) Since the Spring of 2010, Rockwired Media LLC has produced online radio programming highlighting the very best in independent music. Now, the New Mexico-based production company is taking that mission a step further in the launch of a new daily online radio show to add to the roster of the web radio station Rockwired.com. The inspiration for this latest project comes form Rockwired Media's immediate surroundings – the State of New Mexico. “Rockwired has been doing business in this State for almost three years and I feel its time that we produced something geared towards music lovers here in New Mexico.” says Rockwired founder Brian Lush “This brand new show will feature music makers of all genres here in New Mexico and will profile national acts passing through.”

The 505 Rocks is a daily 30-35 minute online radio show.. A new edition will be uploaded to Rockwired.com every Monday through Friday and will feature music and exclusive interviews with local artists or national artists touring through New Mexico. Once uploaded, a show can be listened to at anytime and be available for download. “That is the beauty of this whole thing!” exclaims Lush. “No one has to miss a show or be somewhere at a certain time. It's a listening experience that you can take with you wherever you go.”

BRIAN LUSH holds a BA in Creative Writing from the UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO. He established ROCKWIRED on New Years of 2004 and hasn't looked back since. He is currently the host of all of ROCKWIRED.COM's programming which includes such shows as ROCKWIRED RADIO PROFILES and ROCKWIRED FREE FORM RADIO. As program producer for ROCKWiRED.COM, LUSH is hands-on when it comes to interviewing and building a lasting rapport with the artists that come ROCKWiRED's way. As a youngster, BRIAN LUSH had no idea what kind of seed was being planted by reading magazines such as HIT PARADE, HIGH TIMES, SPIN, REQUEST (remember that one?) and even ROLLING STONE. "Those were the days before the internet and being a rock journalist looked like the coolest job imaginable." says LUSH "But reading these magazines had me imagining that one day I'd be the artist giving all of the clever answers to some poor guy with a tape recorder. Well, life has a way of surprising you. Now, I'm the poor guy with the tape recorder and asking all of the questions."
