http://www.rockwired.com/jolewismva.jpgWE AT ROCKWIRED MAGAZINE WiSH WE COULD'VE BEEN THERE FOR THE 2016 RADIO KSCR MUSiC ViDEO AWARDS BUT ACCORDING TO RADiO KSCR CEO - JOWANNA LEWiS THE EVENT WAS A SUCCESS!!
In an age where looks and presentation are everything the music video is almost as important as the song itself. Hell, it may be even more important. When MTV announced at the start of this decade that they were dropping the word music frome it's logo, the the music world and the public cried foul and protested the cable network  abandoning all that made it great in the first place for  the sort of reality television that gets sneered at yet has proven time and again to be good for ratings. When MTV made this announcement we we at ROCKWIRED were unphased. Music videos were a tertiary concern for the network at that time and YOUTUBE was the place to go if you wanted to see a new music video. ROCKWIRED has always been on the side of the indepedent artist so you can imagine how excite we were when our friends at RADIO KSCR decided to lauch a music video awards show highlighting music videos from independent music artists from numerous genres and walks of life. We were all to happy to publish the official guide for their first ever music video awards show but in doing so we were blown away by the number of nominees and the quality of the music videos. There iare tons of great stuff out there but sadly there isn't much of a forum for it these days and because of that ROCKWIRED MAGAZINE gives it up for RADIO KSCR and gives out a hearfelt congratulations to this years winners for standing out in the crowd.
