SPIRALING CHALLENGING STAGE (2005)

If you've been listening to ROCKWIRED up until now, you've figured out that there is great music in the world, and SPIRALING is the lastest addition to the ROCKWIRED archives. I received a copy of their current EP CHALLENGING STAGE  and their previous LP TRANSMITTER and to be frank, we at ROCKWIRED were in a little bit of a bind. The EP (at four songs) is far too short to build an entire show around, so ROCKWIRED will play selections from both discs. Sure its more work for me, but as long as the music gets out there. Just look at these lads. They've got faces made for radio, but don't think I'm insulting them. FACE FOR RADIO is the hook-laden first track off of their EP. The groups sound combines your basic four to the floor rock n roll with some electronica flourishes. Think of their sound as the middle ground between the BEATLES and the future. It's brave, different and exciting. You may want to throw exhilarating in there as well. This band slams into fifth gear and ROCKWIRED is getting whiplash from the ride. If you don't tune in, you're missing out on how exciting and adventurous this little thing we call rock n' roll can be.
