WILLIAM SHATNER HAS BEEN (2004)

At ROCKWIRED, everyone gets a shot, even former captains of now decomissioned starships. That's right, ROCKWIRED is giving it up for the master of all things ham, WILLIAM SHATNER and his kickin new album HAS BEEN. Actually it came out last year but it's one of the more recent CD's I've purchased. No one was more excited than me when I walked into a BORDERS BOOKSTORE in Albuquerque NM and saw this CD  as one of the featured discs. Without hesitating, I put the headphones on and smiled laughed, and even banged my head tot he opening track COMMON PEOPLE. It was all I could talk about for the rest of the evening and now I'm going to do a show about it. If the fact Mr. Shatner has released an album hasn't surprised you, the company he keeps on this album just might. Here, he's tight with BEN FOLDS, AIMEE MANN, HENRY ROLLINS and JOE JACKSON.
