APRIL 1, 2013 - The polls have closed for ROCKWIRED.COM's recent ARTIST OF THE MONTH campaign. Voters from all over the U.S. made their vote count and the band PSYCHOTHERMIA is ROCKWIRED.COM's  newest ARTIST OF THE MONTH.  After years of busting their balls on the road and delivering on rockin' album after another, the band CANOBLISS hit a snag last year when a former guitarist claimed rights to the band's name. However the remaining members MIKE RUSSO (drums), JOHN RUSSO (guitars), CHENZO VILADEZ (bass) and JOHAN MALDONADO firgured what the hell was in a name. these dedicated rockers nicked the title of CANOBLISS' debut CD and are now electrifying audeinces and listeners as PSYCHOTHERMIA and their new  release FALL TO THE RISING SUN reaffirms this foursome's venomous metal assault. " I am very proud of this album." says guitarist JOHN RUSSO "It brought more of our strengths together. I think our previous albums was just me and JOHAN doing the writing but this time CHENZO our bass player wrote a bunch of the songs. MIKE got involved a lot more and JOHAN wrote a bunch of the instrumentation on one song. I think that having all of us contributing in those ways made it a very well rounded album. I think it's the best of us so far. It's the best since our PSYCHOTHERMIA album in our CANOBLISS days."

ROCKWIRED.COM will be launching its latest ARTIST OF THE MONTH campaign on April 1, 2013. Nominees for this latest wave include FERAL VINCA, ANOXIA, DAVID & DEVINE, HAZARD HEAD, WHITE SHAG, CHROME MOLLIE and IAMEVE. Polling is provided by MICROPOLL and is as simple as making a selection and clicking 'vote'.

While there is no trophy or huge payday for being an ARTIST OF THE MONTH winner, the benefits that come along with the title include expanded coverage and promotion. An ARTIST OF MONTH winner is awarded a month's worth of free site-wide advertising on ROCKWIRED.COM. A 60-second commercial spot promoting the winner and their album will be featured on ROCKWIRED.COM's entire programming for an entire month.  The winner is also featured in a special edition of ROCKWIRED RADIO PROFILES.  Banners are also given to the winners to further promote their ARTIST OF THE MONTH status on their own website or press packets. Lastly, winners are mentioned on all ROCKWIRED-related announcements/press materials.
