MAY 1, 2014 - The polls have closed for ROCKWIRED.COM's recent ARTIST OF THE MONTH campaign. Voters from all over the U.S. and Canada made their vote count and EMPERORS AND ELEPHANTS is ROCKWIRED.COM's newest ARTIST OF THE MONTH. We're kind of making a hard right from most of the headbanging active rock in giving it up for the Nashville-based alt-country, rock-a-billy band JANE ROSE AND THE DEAD END BOYS. In 2011 the band released their debut album POULTRICIDE and ever since the band has been a pack of traveling troubadours rocking crowds with the perfect mix and hillbilly swing and moody roots rock. Now the band is putting the finishing touches on their upcoming CD DAMAGED GOODS. This time around JANE and the boys are certainly no worse for the wear from life on the road. This new album proves that they are committed pros and JANE ROSE shines as the band's primary songwriter with a gusto the brings to mind the likes of LUCINDA WILLIAMS and POISON IVY of THE CRAMPS.
