Voters from all over the U.S. and Canada made their vote count and I WOKE UP EARLY FOR MY FUNERAL  is ROCKWIRED.COM's newest ARTIST OF THE MONTH. This is teh band's second time winning the title of ARTIST OF THE MONTH. The first time was back in September of 2012. Back in 2012 ROCKWIRED first became acquainted with the band  when they released their debut EP WELCOME TO MY HEAD. Since that time. the band has honed their act  on the road. With a live set that is both pyrotechnic and legendary in it's own time, WAYLAND are taking advantage of this momentum and looking to release a new album later this year. This forthcoming release is preceded by a rockin' new single GET A LITTLE - a thunderously stomping tune that kicks out the motherfucking  jams like it's nobody's effin' business. And they say that rock n roll is dead!

Other nominees for ARTIST OF THE MONTH included COLE CHILDERS, GHOST TOWN ORCHESTRA, SHALLOW SIDE, HED P.E., KICKIN' KROTCH and SIHASIN.


ROCKWIRED.COM will be launching its latest ARTIST OF THE MONTH campaign on August 4, 2014. Nominees for this latest wave include LOSING SEPTEMBER, BIG ENGINE, MONGREL, ADAGE, REVENGE KILLED MARY JANE, TONY CLARK & KILLING TIME and THE NORMS.
