21, 2012 - KINGTOWN ROCKERS are Madison Wisconsin's newest and most
formidable reggae/rocker outfit, a talent rich quartet led by four time
GRAMMY nominated lead singer and guitarist MICHAEL STONE who has toured
extensively with some of the worlds greatest reggae artists, such as
JUSTIN HINDS, PETER TOSH, BOB MARLEY, THIRD WORLDS CAT CORE and famed
Studio One drummer LEROY "HORSEMOUTH" WALLACE. PETER "RAS KIKIT"
JOHNSTON from the original NATTY NATION reggae group drives the
KINGTOWN ROCKERS train. Another NATTY alumni STEFAN TRUESDELL (WEAPONS
OF MASS DEFUNKTION), displays his varied array of lead/rhythm guitar
and vocal styling. JACK WHITNEY (MASH ALLAH) is the newest member of
KINGTOWN ROCKERS bringing his "rock steady" style of bass to the band.
You can catch KINGTOWN ROCKERS performing at Summerfest in Milwaukee
and numerous Festivals and clubs around the Midwest! Check out the
newest reggae & rock sensation to come out of America to date!
The bands new EP 'JUMPIN' JACK FLASH' is produced and engineered by
Jack LeTourneau -the talent behind over 150 award winning blues
& rock projects from BILLY BRANCH AND TH SONS OF THE BLUES to
OTIS RUSH and the recently Grammy nominated BOBBY MESSANO and AARON
WILLIAMS & THE HOODOO. The EP was recorded at the acclaimed
EXCHANGE RECORDING COMPLEX in Milwaukee and features Chicago
rapper JORDAN TAGGART, female vocalist NICOLE WATERS, B3 & Keys
by MIKE CAMMILLIERI and former Sly Stone saxophonist PETER NEUMER.

LUSH holds a BA in Creative Writing from the UNIVERSITY OF
NEW MEXICO. He established ROCKWIRED on New Years of 2004 and hasn't
looked back
since. He is currently the host of all of ROCKWIRED.COM's programming
which includes such shows as ROCKWIRED RADIO PROFILES and ROCKWIRED
FREE FORM RADIO. As
program producer for ROCKWiRED.COM, LUSH is hands-on when it
comes to
interviewing and building a lasting rapport with the artists that come
ROCKWiRED's
way. As a youngster, BRIAN LUSH had no idea what kind of seed was being
planted
by reading magazines such as HIT PARADE, HIGH TIMES, SPIN, REQUEST
(remember
that one?) and even ROLLING STONE. "Those were the days before the
internet and being a rock journalist
looked
like the coolest job imaginable." says LUSH "But reading these
magazines had me
imagining that one day I'd be the artist giving all of the clever
answers to
some poor guy with a tape recorder. Well, life has a way of surprising
you.
