2012 - MEMORY OF A
MELODY is a 5 piece from San Antonio, TX. Having paid its dues working
club shows, touring, and opening for immensely popular touring acts,
the band has quickly risen to local dominance through high energy stage
shows and an unforgettable array of songs.After much demand by fans for
an album, MEMORY OF A MELODY enlisted producer BRYAN SCOTT to begin
work on their debut record “THINGS THAT MAKE YOU SCREAM" An album
that boldly attacks the blandness of modern rock by wrapping pounding
rhythms, and intricate guitar work around catchy, hard-edged vocals.
The diverse collection of songs masterfully demonstrates the band's
ability to pummel and thrash while fitting in perfectly with radio
rock. The band is currently working on putting together a collection of
live recordings. The live collection will include video and sound
recordings from both intimate and high profile shows including their
Things That Make You Scream CD Release party and the highly successful
2nd annual MELODYFEST, as well as others. The band also has intentions
to take MELODYFEST (an annual festival appropriately named for MEMORY
OF A MELODY) on the road.

LUSH holds a BA in Creative Writing from the UNIVERSITY OF
NEW MEXICO. He established ROCKWIRED on New Years of 2004 and hasn't
looked back
since. He is currently the host of all of ROCKWIRED.COM's programming
which includes such shows as ROCKWIRED RADIO PROFILES and ROCKWIRED
FREE FORM RADIO. As
program producer for ROCKWiRED.COM, LUSH is hands-on when it
comes to
interviewing and building a lasting rapport with the artists that come
ROCKWiRED's
way. As a youngster, BRIAN LUSH had no idea what kind of seed was being
planted
by reading magazines such as HIT PARADE, HIGH TIMES, SPIN, REQUEST
(remember
that one?) and even ROLLING STONE. "Those were the days before the
internet and being a rock journalist
looked
like the coolest job imaginable." says LUSH "But reading these
magazines had me
imagining that one day I'd be the artist giving all of the clever
answers to
some poor guy with a tape recorder. Well, life has a way of surprising
you.
