Ever since ROCKWIRED became acquainted with the New York City-based glam metal band STATION at the dawn of 2014 with the release of their EP WIRED We've been anxiously awaiting the arrival of the album that guitarist CHRIS LANE had assured us was on it's way. Why were we so excited? The truth is, STATION delivers the kind of rock n roll that packs a punch rather than something to whine about. In a time when indie rock has embraced  a sickeningly down-home approach as evidenced by shit like MUMFORD AND SONS and other bands of that foot-stomping, accordion-playing sort STATION is here to crank up up the volume with anthem rockers that bring us back to a day when it was boy meets girl and then loses her and can't live without her and then realizing that he was better off without the bitch. The metal guitar theatrics of guitarist CHRIS LANE and the vocal pyrotechnics of front man PATRICK KEARNEY will definitely jog a memory or two fo those halcyon days of MTV's HEADBANGER'S BALL which is weird considering the fact that the members fo STATION were barely alive back in those days. Maybe there is some hope for rock n roll after all.
