For most indie artists, having their debut single chosen as the official theme song of a prominent MTV show would be something of an end-all. But for composer and multi-instrumentalist DAN C. WRIGHT, founder of the multi-faceted Austin based indie dream-pop trio 3D FRIENDS, "LINA MAGIC" - used so prominently on the controversial teen drama "SKINS" - became his calling card/launch point for the deeper artistry that the band has developed over the past few years, both on their recordings and in their powerhouse live performances throughout Texas and on tour as far away as California. Their latest EP SUMMER BREAK is a perfectly titled soundtrack for Summer 2014, a five-track set of spirited, easy flowing positivity that achieves WRIGHT's goal of "stepping out from the realm of background music and getting on the other side of the camera."
