The combination of ROCKWIRED's musical reportage an it's online radio programming make ROCKWIRED.COM a hot spot for not only reading up on the what's new in rock but for listening to what's new and hearing the stories from the artists themselves.

There is an awful lot of talk these days about about how disposable the current pop set is and music critics (there are so many of them) who seem to be favoring the offerings of hip hop, country and folk-type artists. Rock n roll is clearly not the music of the day but ROCKWIRED.COM's founder BRIAN LUSH feels that this is the most exciting time for rock n roll. "Rock music doesn't have a lot of major label support but it's got the support of thousands of small, independent labels throughout the country that seem to be popping up everywhere. The March issue  will be released March 4, 2014 and will feature:

  • The March issue of ROCKWIRED MAGAZINE will be preceded by a five part online radio series called BAND THE DRUM LOUDLY which will feature profiles on the drummers for some of th top acts in indepedent  rock. as well as music clips.  Listeners will also get a chance to vote for their favorite drummer and the  results will be provided in the March issue.  This five-part special will be available at ROCKWIRED.COM  on February  17 - 21, 2014. 
  • The March issue will rank the top 25 drummers in  independent rock  in an attactive 14 page spread and a downloadable two hour podcast  featurinf interview excerpts and  music.
  • A downloadable podcast called THE ROCKWIRED MAGAZINE AUDIO COMPANION which will feature the editor-in-chief and select staff talk candidly about putting the issue together as well as interview excerpts and select songs.
